Hello, everyone! I’m Savanna Barnett, a born and raised Kentuckian of small town Harrodsburg, KY. I currently live in Nicholasville, KY with 6 four-legged furry children in a cute lil’ house with the man of my dreams. I have been shooting professionally since 2015. However, my interest in photography began way back in middle school when I got my very first camera as a Christmas gift from my parents. I took photos of EV-ER-Y-THING, y’all. I started using my friends as models, taking senior photos for classmates, jumped at opportunities to be a second shooter at several weddings and it wasn’t long until I realized THIS is what I wanted to do. I went on to college at Transylvania University to pursue a degree in visual arts with an emphasis in photography. During this time, I also began a full-time job as a product photographer/online marketer for a local business here in Lexington, KY. I realized my passion went beyond photographing people, but “things” as well. I loved the idea that I had the power to turn even the most average mundane objects into something beautiful and eye-catching. Product photography is an aspect of photography I really enjoy, especially when working with locally owned small businesses. I love being able to help local companies grow to their full potential by providing them with snazzy visual content for their websites and social platforms! However, my greatest love is photographing people IN love. I am so honored any time I have the opportunity to capture moments for newly engaged or married couples. There is something so special about getting to witness and photograph the most intimate and sentimental moments between two people that are in love. Whether they be strangers or friends I’ve known my entire life, you better believe you’ll see me crying behind that camera. As far as I’m concerned, my clients are all family and I’m here to make you feel as beautiful and special as you truly are! Whether it’s your wedding day, a fun solo portrait shoot, professional headshots, family portraits, a sexy boudoir session, or even photos of your precious fur babies, I am here to capture those special moments for you that will last a lifetime.
